Youth Beauty & Wellness Leadership Academy

Our Youth Beauty & Wellness Leadership Academy is a 12-week journey where teens don't just learn about beauty-they learn about themselves. We created this academy for youth ages 12-21 who love hair, skin, and self-care and want to turn that curiosity into confidence, leadership, and real career possibilities.

Each week, we blend hands-on cosmetology fundamentals with real-life lessons. Youth practice basic haircare, skincare, hygiene, and grooming, while also learning how to communicate with clients, carry themselves professionally, and lead with kindness. They step into a classroom that feels like a salon lab and a mentorship circle all in one.

What makes this academy different is our focus on inner beauty. Alongside technique, we teach self-esteem, emotional wellness, and self-awareness. Through guided discussions and reflective activities, participants learn how to quiet negative self-talk, manage stress, and show up as their best selves-in the mirror and in the world.

Throughout the 12 weeks, students connect with licensed beauty and wellness professionals who share real industry stories, answer questions about schooling and licensure, and model what a purpose-driven career in beauty can look like. Youth leave not only with beginner skills, but with clarity about whether cosmetology, esthetics, or wellness could be their next step.
