Licensed Cosmetology Preparation Course

Our Licensed Cosmetology Preparation Course is designed for youth who are serious about turning their love for beauty into a licensed career. Drawing from over three decades of salon and education experience, we created this course to bridge the gap between curiosity and classroom-so teens step into cosmetology school or state exams prepared, not overwhelmed.

In this course, participants strengthen the core skills and knowledge areas they will need for licensure. We cover foundational theory-sanitation, safety, basic anatomy, hair and scalp essentials-alongside practical demonstrations in hair, skin, and basic nail care. Youth learn not just the "how," but the "why" behind each technique.

We also walk them through what to expect from cosmetology school and the licensing process: hour requirements, exam structure, professional standards, and realistic career paths after graduation. This demystifies the journey and helps families make informed decisions about time and financial investment.

Equally important, we address the business and mindset side of the industry. Teens are introduced to entrepreneurship basics, client care, ethical practices, and personal wellness habits that prevent burnout. They start thinking like future professionals, not just hobbyists.
